Helena Francke

I am a senior lecturer at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås, Sweden. My research interests concern primarily the credibility and authority of sources, information literacy, information practices, scholarly communication, and document studies. Currently, I divide my research interests between work with information literacy, partly in relation to the current discussion around media and information literacy, and work on the role of research libraries in scholarly communication. I also teach library and information science at undergraduate and graduate level, mainly within the Master's programmes "Master in Library and Information Science" and "Digital services - culture, information & communication" of which I am one of the programme co-ordinators.
